Amsterdam- Holland Pass or I Amsterdam card

Recommended Posts

We have one day in port in July and want to make the most of our one day in Amsterdam. We have advance tickets for Anne Frank but also want to do:

Canal Boat ride

Rembrandt House

Van Gogh Museum

Would either of these card help us save some money and most of all save us time so we can "skip the line?"

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Also, where do we purchase the cards once there? Or can I print out a voucher here in the states?

Van Goghmuseum will be closed as per September 1, they will relocate to another place during renovations.

Best is to check both cards on their websites and see if it is worth or which is the best for you.

Much depends what you want to do, what extras you need etc.

Canalboatrides are offered in many places. Our faovrite is the one at night incl. wine and cheese, offered by Kooy:

In case you want to visit Anne Frankhuis, make reservations online to skip the often longlines.

I will be in Amsterdam 9/18, and thought the Van Gogh musuem didn't close til 9/24?

Yes indeed my mistake. According their website they close Sept. 29.

So you are in time!
