To all you CPAP owners and others:

 

What if I found a roller cooler and put my CPAP machine in it (would probably be larger than 12 x12).

 

Would it pass as carry on for airline and ship?

Great question, my Hubby also uses a CPAP, but it has a really nice case that we can simply carry on, because it's a medically necessary I would hope they wouldn't give us any problems carrying them on board.

CPAP can be carried on any airline and does not count toward your carry on limit as it is considered medical equipment. Be prepared to spend more time going thru the TSA as it is always checked by hand. you an also request distilled water and most cruise lines will bring a gallon jug to your room. I know Princess does for sure.

Put it in a rolling suitcase. If it is in a cooler larger than the specified size it will be a no go

CPAP isnt a problem. OP wants to find a way to bring a larger than allowed cooler onboard, other than a collasible one.
