LOCVP1 Posted June 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Just double checking if the ship is in Cayman from 8-4 (RCL FOS) than is it 7-3 Cayman time? I am trying to book an excursion and they have given me an 11am tour time and I am thinking that is 12pm and that cuts things close if it is 3 hours. Thanks! TurtleTagger Posted June 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Cayman does not observe daylight savings time. So when the USA does, Cayman's time can be described as being one hour behind EDT.
cb at sea Posted June 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 4, 2012 If you're booking thru the ship, you have no time worries....whatever the ship's time is...will be how your excursion is timed! Sometimes, the ship changes time to match the port...sometimes they don't. The only time you need to worry about is ship's time!!!

If you are booking a private excursion through an outside company, they will use local time, which for Grand Cayman will be one hour behind Miami time during the summer.
