What's the lowest price for balcony you have ever seen?

A couple weeks ago I booked Glory 5 night July 7th 4ppl balcony for 1773.00:p

I thought that was a great rate! Was a guarantee balc and we ended up on the spa deck too!

That's a great deal! Hoping I get bumped up to a balcony. On Destiny, the only ocean view rooms are on riviera and main decks, but insides go all the way up. I'd love to be on a higher deck. My parents are on a lido balcony.

It probably not the cheapest ever, but we were on the Valor for a seven day western Caribbean (Belize, Cayman, Cozumel, Roatan) 9/4/2011 - 9/11/2011. Our cabin was Verandah 8450 -- the extended aft balcony that was directly next to the aft wrap so it is wider than the others.

The total fare (including taxes and fees) for the three of us (me, wife and son) was $1920.46.

DH and I have an 8 day scheduled out of NY, obstructed balcony for $367.91 per person. That number has FCC OBC, taxes, and casino cash factored in. :o We usually sail the Pride for our quick and easy getaways, but at that cost, adding the train and a night in NYC still beat the price out of Baltimore for the same itinerary, plus we get an extra day of cruising.

Our current cruise. We got our balcony for $419.00 for a seven day category 8B including port charges but not the taxes. I am sure there were lower at times but I thought this was a great deal. It was lower then the outside cabins.

We are sailing on the Destiny on July 23rd. We have an ocean view with 5 passengers. Our current rate is $403 pp.(after numerous price drops since January) which I thought was awesome for a summer cruise! We would love to be upgraded to a balcony and wondering if the upsell fairy will call. What is the lowest price you have ever seen for a balcony in the summer months?

why don't you give Carnival a call? they will let you know what is available and how much more it will be. I snagged a great upgrade last cruise.... from regular balcony to aft extended balcony for just an additional $120.00. Good luck :)

We received a bounceback offer (25% off any cruise and a specified amount of casino cash) on the last night of our most recent cruise. You have to book within 10 days, and sail within 6 months. Fortunately, there was a MD resident rate in place for a sailing on the Miracle of $649. We also had a FCC, so once applying the discount, the additional onboard credit, and the casino cash, that's the cost per person. If we weren't going to spend an amount at least equal to the casino cash given anyway, then it's not quite as good of a deal, but we will, so I included it in the savings.
Right now....you can get a balcony on the Miracle in January for $539pp for 8 nights....
but...#1. It's January, leaving from NYC
#2. Orlando, Nassau, Freeport
(but I'm still going, cuz it's so cheap!);)
We just booked Nov 30, 8 night out of NY for $459pp....right, it's out of NY in the cold but that's still too cheap to pass up!:D

I paid $469 pp for my November 2009 Mexican Riviera sailing on Mariner of the Seas.

Seeing lots of LOW rates for winter cruises out of NYC. They won't continue to offer year-round cruising out of NYC if they gave to keep offering rates that low to fill the ship! Of course, with that terrible itinerary, it's almost set up to fail.
