pampaul Posted June 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2012 We went to Castaway Cay in April of 08 and I remember the ocean floor had a bunch of seaweed on it. Is this normal all the time or just time of year? We'll be there in a couple weeks and I'd like to know if it'll be the same, so I can pack some water shoes. cb at sea Posted June 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2012 Seaweed is seasonal...just like jellyfish! I've never brought water shoes anywhere...they're ugly...if it's rocky or gross, I won't go in the water! Whether to bring beach shoes is up to you! So there shouldn't be a bunch of seaweed in June, compared to April?
