Cindy Posted June 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2012 My husband and I will be in Martinique on the Noordam in early December. I was interested in the Land & Sea Excursion, but so far Holland America only has three excursions listed, and that isn't one of them! None of the excursions listed for our sailing are particularly interesting to us. Is there limited availability for excursions on Sundays? Should I wait and see if HAL adds excursions, or should I start searching for a private tour operator. Does anybody have any recommendations? Thanks! SeaBands Posted August 11, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2012 and nothing seems interesting. Did one several years ago but that's the same tour offered.
Nole0202 Posted October 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Hi Cindy, My wife and I have visited Martinique twice. It is one of the best islands, but the port is disappointing for most. Our first visit was the infamous HAL Sunday stop that does not provide much time to much. If time allows, there is a Budget retal car in downtown adjacent to the pier. The Martinique road system is as good as any in the US and you can quickly get to the south or north side. The island has many photo opportunities and is weel worth planning an excursion.
