Boarding Time in Copenhagen for Emerald Princess?

Do the Emerald Princess cruises from Copenhagen allow early boarding for cruisers who have arrived at CPH early in the morning? Several members of our group arrive before 8am and are wondering what they should do if they want to board before the published time. They don't want cabin access, but will be very tired from their overnight flight and are hoping there's a way they can board early.

For our Emerald cruise last year we arrived in Copenhagen airport at about 7 am. We took the train from the airport to the main train station in the city, checked our bags there, and did some sightseeing in the city by train and foot. Then we went back to the station, collected our bags and took a taxi to the port, arriving at noon. When we got to the port there was no line and we checked right in and walked onto the ship. One couple we met on board said they had gotten to the port at around 8:30 and had to wait until 11:30 to board.

Thanks you for your information as it's difficult for those arriving early in the am after an overnight flight from the States to know when they can get on-board. A follow-up question is "When were finally able to access your cabin?"

Once you board a Princess ship you have immediate access to your cabin.

When we did a Med cruise out of Barcelona, Carnival offered a pre-cruise excursion. They picked us up at the airport and we had that nice distraction for a few hours before being driven to the pier. Even though we were tired, we did enjoy it. I wonder if Princess offers something like that?

I have never seen this unless it is part of a Princess hotel package or if you happen to be staying in that hotel and they allow others to sign up for the tour.
