Emerald Princess scooter-user review needed

Thinking of doing Canada New England 10 day on Emerald Princess. Wife uses a scooter, has bad knees. Need info regarding storage of scooter in non-HC balcony Cabin and insights into navigation of ship using scooter please! Any reccomendations for best locations for a balcony stateroom? Don't want a handicapped stateroom, HC bathrooms more a hinderence than a help. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Since a scooter cannot be stored or charged outside of a cabin, you will need a scooter that will fit through a normal size door (Princess can tell you the size of the door opening).

You will probably also need an extension cord to be able to charge the battery.

Once you get the scooter through the door, you will not be able to turn it around. You could possibly store it in the closet area, but it would not be any way close to an outlet to charge it. EM

We do like the design of the stateroom and hope that the layout of the cabin closet/bath area will help us store the scooter out of the walkway into the room. The Battery is detachable and we have the Powerstrip. How many electrical outlets in the cabin? European or American style plug?

Thanks! We are prepared to disassemble the scooter to get it into the room, just need to figure out where to store the 4 parts!
