DaisyDell Posted June 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Does anyone have experience/knowledge if the refrigerators in Allure cabins would keep diabetic/allergy serum cold enough(but not frozen)?

Langley Cruisers Posted June 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Personally, I would not trust them to keep medications/breast milk, anything valuable cold. Have taken numerous cruises and have never had a fridge be "cold". It is a cooler, at best. You can request a special refrigerator from the Special Needs department on the website. I would go with that. While some people here will tell you the one in the cabin is fine, do you want to take a chance? I wouldn't.
Rare BillOh Posted June 15, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Does anyone have experience/knowledge if the refrigerators in Allure cabins would keep diabetic/allergy serum cold enough(but not frozen)? Do they carry a temp spec? This might be a good question for the GUEST WITH SPECIAL NEEDS group. They have their own email address and seem quick to respond. I will say that at least last year when they were new the fridges did keep drinks colder than the fridges I have had on other ships. 45F would be my guess. (Speaking specifically about Allure)
