Barb Nahoumi Posted July 15, 2012 #26 Share Posted July 15, 2012 When is your cruise? It usually takes 4-6 weeks to get a new passport issued. If you are within two weeks of sailing, go to your local issuing office, Not the post office, but a federal building. You'll need to bring your itinerary, tickets, birth certificate, picture Id, and required monies. They can issue a new passport that day. You might need to call for an appt. Good luck. Suesan Jean Posted July 15, 2012 Author #27 Share Posted July 15, 2012 Is the passport that you can't find almost expired? If so then it probably would be a good idea to get a new one. I think it has a few more years on it. I will have to check out my DH's Passport.
