Accessibility of Tenders on Ventura

Trying to find some information relating to how easy the access is into and out of tenders when using them at a Port of Call. I've been looking for any video which shows this but cannot find anything which specifically shows access or egress.

Is the access likely to be directly out from the lower deck or is it down some steps from the deck above? Is the access on tender involve steps and are they any deeper than a normal step? Also how wide a gap between ship and tender however I do appreciate that these are two moving objects!

The ship has huge doors which drop to form a dock for the tender. You then step onto the tender then down a few steps to the seating area.

They keep the tender tight to the ship so there is very little gap. There are plenty of crew to assist.

There are lifts down to the tendering deck so no need for stairs, although you might have to wait for the lift a while. The steps in the actual tender can be quite deep.

There's plenty of crew on hand to help people with limited mobility. There are steps down into the tender or up if you go on the upper deck and it can be quite rocky depending on sea conditions. I've done a video here if you haven't seen it:

Hi

I don't think you really need to worry. If it's too choppy, the tenders don't run for health and safety reasons. There are plenty of crew to hold your hand to help you on/off. I've had a knee replacement and the other knee isn't marvellous but I've never had any problems.
