Overnight Train: Barcelona -> Milan

After our cruise we are taking the Elipsos overnight train from Barcelona di Franca to Milano Centrale. From there we are renting a car and driving to Asti.

 

We have been told by our hotelier that we should get off in Turin (Torino) as it is much closer.

 

But we cannot find out if the train makes a stop there. I say no, it's a closed route, end-to-end. My husband sees that there is a station on the line in Turin and thinks the train would stop.

 

Anybody know?
