Dorset Cruiser Posted July 25, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted July 25, 2012 Found the original post. It was from a Sea Princess cruise in July. The list posted only included a couple of the films posted in the Ruby Princess review. Hope the list from Sea Princess is mirrored on Crown Princess next month! Times Prince Posted July 26, 2012 #7 Share Posted July 26, 2012 MUTS movies are typically recent releases to DVD and/or highly popular adventure films (e.g. Indiana Jones and...) which are a little less recent. When a film we've wanted to see is releasing about a month before our cruise, we will tend to wait before buying a DVD, and most of the time we'll see the movie onboard. 1 HappyCruiser Posted July 26, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 26, 2012 MUTS movies are typically recent releases to DVD and/or highly popular adventure films (e.g. Indiana Jones and...) which are a little less recent. When a film we've wanted to see is releasing about a month before our cruise, we will tend to wait before buying a DVD, and most of the time we'll see the movie onboard. Unfortunately this it very true. Princess tends to reject lots of movies as inappropriate or not able to show them to a wide range of audiences. They're still showing many of the movies they had from early April & only updated a few on the list. If I watched everything that came out on DVD prior to sailing I would have seen almost all of the movies that Princess will be showing although recently they showed the Artist long before it was available on DVD. caribill Posted July 26, 2012 #9 Share Posted July 26, 2012 recently they showed the Artist long before it was available on DVD. I find in most cases the newest movies shown on Princess are on Princess initially in the month before they are released for sale on land. "Hunger Games" and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" are being shown now and will be out on DVD next month.
