crichard312 Posted July 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2012 Just returned from Belize and went on this excursion. It was excellent! They divided groups into groups and took them out to a wonderful view. Guides were great showing things in the water. They kept and eye on everyone, but made sure we all had fun. What is not advertised it the open bar on the boat. The drinks were alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They kept the drinks coming. The beach was great. You could purchase lunch and lounge on the beach. Wish the beach break was longer. We were taken from the ship by boat to the reef then to the beach. We were returned to the ship. We took a quick shower and caught a tender to the village. We did the chocolate tour, made chocolate bars, did some shopping in the village, and returned to the ship with time to spare. Excellent day! I've heard where people have almost died on some of those trips.
crichard312 Posted July 30, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted July 30, 2012 These guides were so safe, and watched us so well, it made us very happy. There were two guys in paddle boats around everyone one, three guides in the water, and two on the deck watching the crowd. One man went to wave to his wife, and before we knew it, he was surrounded by help. They all laughed, but at least they were watching.

waykaylincruz Posted August 11, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 11, 2012 Which snorkel and beach break excursion did you go on? We are booked on the snorkel and beach break at Rendezvous Cay. Just wondering if that was the one you went on.

smarks Posted August 14, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Our excursion was with Carnival. It was called Snorkel with beach break. Thanks for the info. We are looking to book a snorkel tour in Belize. Do you remember what beach you went to. Was it Bannister? So you went snorkeling first then to the beach. That sounds like fun. I would welcome any info you have on this tour. Thanks.
crichard312 Posted August 15, 2012 Author #10 Share Posted August 15, 2012 I do not remember the beach. It was a private beach and you can only get there by boat. It was on a small island. The drinks on the boat were free, but not on the island. We purchased some good food while we were there. Lots of beach chairs!
