swscruiser Posted August 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2012 Okay, I purchased my bottle of rum from Bon Voage, can I then transfer it into rum runners to carry with me to the lido deck? Keith
kona_wahine Posted August 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2012 As far as I know you are free to do whatever you want with it. You didn't smuggle it on board so the carnival police shouldn't care. I'd just take a regular flask.
Gailerina Posted August 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2012 You can probably walk around with it haha We always carried our wine to the shied with our room glasses :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ~ sign the awesome Gailerina!
chicaletta Posted August 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2012 Sure can...that way you have more time to spend by the pool rather than running back to the cabin to make another drink.
Chirpbird Posted August 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2012 I brought an adult sippy cup - you know, those two liter thingys with crinkle straws? I'd pour alcohol in it (from Bon Voyage), then go to the bar and order a Coke.
LizaMM Posted August 5, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2012 Okay, I purchased my bottle of rum from Bon Voage, can I then transfer it into rum runners to carry with me to the lido deck?Keith YES!!! I did just this on my last cruise. Last year on 2 cruises I bought Bon Voyage liquor and kept forgetting to bring it with me. I had planned on pouring it into a water bottle or bringing a cup from the Lido Deck to the cabin but I just never seemed to do that! On my last cruise a friend gave me couple of the small rum runners and I filled them up and brought them with me around the ship. The small ones are nice because they fit into a pocket or small pocketbook. I also brought the rum runner with me when I went out in a port area. If you do decide to bring the rum runners don't forget the funnel.....it can be a messy pour without that

LizaMM Posted August 5, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 5, 2012 That is a good idea! This actually saved me a bundle! I brought Tequila off the ship with me in Grand Turk and bought a Margarita and then "doctored" it up when I got half way through instead of buying another (or two) expensive drinks.
