Bobby Dee Posted August 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Some years ago, Celebrity (and RCCL) established a policy to not allow travel agents to discount their cruise fares. The idea was to insure that everyone was paying the same. In any event, for years, I've seen the same price listed on my TA's website as I found on the X website. The travel agents were allowed to use OBC's to distinguish themselves from one another, but not lower their fares. Today, I was looking at prices for next spring season, and I found many prices which were lower than those published on the Celebrity site. Has this policy changed? Bobby Dee Posted August 7, 2012 Author #2 Share Posted August 7, 2012 Never mind. I did some checking and it all has to do with groups put together with a large travel agency. If I could, I would edit and delete the original post, but there doesn't seem to be that option.:o

biker1972 Posted August 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2012 One major thing that X did was not to allow transfers to TA's of direct booking after the booking is 60 days old.
