mikeyd Posted August 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Can anyone confirm? Also, we will have 8 of us - can anyone with experience let us know if we'll have issues with two extra people loitering around? Thanks!
OnTheGoMom921 Posted August 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2012 We had a cabana on our 6/23 Gem cruise... 4 chaise lounges plus 4 dining chairs with 2 dining tables and 2 small tables for the lounge chairs. 6 towels, 6 bottles of water, chips/salsa, fruit bowl. Enjoy your cabana! ~Michele:D
xcolie616 Posted August 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Ours had 4 loungers and four chairs. We did however have a big problem with sand fleas, it had just rained and I was told when the ground is wet they come up to bite! Two extra people should not be a problem. Looks really nice. As of now for a 11/4/12 cruise....they are sold out now but were $249. This includes: Use of the Cabana for the whole day $50 food drink credit water float. hippo slide passes IIRC several bottles of water waiting. The DH and I sprung for one, we figure we'll share the space with some shipboard friends! :D

Looks really nice. They are sold out on my 12/9 Jewel sailing as well. If you think you might want a cabana, book it while you can.
ibcnusoon Posted August 9, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Can anyone confirm? Also, we will have 8 of us - can anyone with experience let us know if we'll have issues with two extra people loitering around? Thanks! I read this in a review on NCL: "While it says "6 people" they only limits the number of hippo slide and tender passes (and they gave us extra hippo slide wristbands anyway) we were 10 in the cabana and fit easily. " ___ We are booked on the Breakaway for Thanksgiving 2013. Cabanas are currently available, cannot believe I'm booking a cabana 1 1/2 years out! watchdiva Posted August 9, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Just booked cabana for our February 2013 cruise. We've had cabanas before on HMC (Holland American's private island) and they're super! We like not hassling over getting a lounge chair and DH needs shade so.....if you share the cost with friends it's even better! The cabanas are paid for at the time of booking (immediate charge to your credit card).
