Is there a minimum that you have to put down (I plan on using cash) on your S&S account?

That's funny I was just going to ask a similar question. We always use credit but this year decided to go with cash. Also, if you put too much in the account how do you get it back?

On my 7 night cruise, we had to put down a minimum of $200.00. Whatever amount is left over at the end of the cruise is given to you by check the last morning. Have fun!!!

There is no minimum amount required. Anything you do not spend will be refunded to you in a form of a check on the last day

there is no minimum.. I know for a fact because I forgot my wallet once and didnt have $200 in cash to my name.. they will take whatever you got.

 

It also says in the FAQs .. suggested amount.. that is not a minimum.

in my past experience (always use cash) no minimum, and you can add additional cash on board if you need to (yes, we always do) :eek:

What we do is give them our credit card when we check in but we go down the day before we get off and pay off our account with cash.

 

That way we don't have the hassel of worrying about going over a cash limit AND we have no credit card charges either.

And if you get a check back, you can go down to Guest Services and cash it there.

No minimum and also you can use your account for 24 hrs before having to put money on it. This way you don't have to wait in the long lines at Guest Services when you get on the ship. We usually go later than night when it's not busy.
