Seeking shopping advice Freeport/Nassau

our last time in Freeport the shop keepers at port Lucaya were asking ridiculous high prices and were not even interested to negotiate. It was a waste of time. Better of waiting to shop in Nassau. In Nassau I prefer the little shops in the cruise terminal because some of them have handmade stuff.

The straw market in Nassau is pretty good but the vendors are about the most pushy I have ever seen anywhere. Little did they know if they would just let me be, I would have purchased WAY more.... Same could be said for Port Lucaya in Freeport.
