what not to miss on the independence of the seas

first cruise on royal caribbean...we will be cruising on the independence of the seas..what should I not miss on this ship? what activities, shows, food, should I see, try, or have? thanks for any information you can give me

I would book both Chops and Portofinos just for a little pampering and to get away from the crowds in the MDR. The flow rider is a must try( I boogie boarded too old for stand up), Rock wall for the fit and adventurous. Do see the shows, the entertainers work very hard,especially the Ice Show.

I'm going on the Independence in TWO weeks!! So exciting :) Whatever you do you'll have a great time, I first went on their back in 2008 and the teen area was great so you're son will have a fantastic cruise if he goes along on the first night :)

Don't miss the Rock Britannia and 70's night on the Royal Promenade. Also Quest, it is a bit of fun and even if you don't take part it is hilarious. Mostly down to CD Joff Eaton who helped make our cruise on Indy lat month the best yet.
