Whale excer. Granada or Dominica?

Recommended Posts

We are taking cruise at the end of Feb. Would love to do this excursion, it is offered on both Islands) was wondering which would be the best place and is this a good time to see whales? Just hate to spend all that money if chances are there will be no whales, lol.

Thanks!;)

We were in Dominica one the Explorer a few years ago and went on the whale watching ex. it was Feb. it was AMAZING, we saw literally hundreds of dolphins swimming along the side of the boat while we were making our way to the spot they were taking us to and i'd say we probably saw 5-6 whales, these guys knew what they were doing, they used a device of some sort and were able to tell us where and when we should look to see them and actually told us when to look and see them surface, one of the best ex. ever. friends of ours were in Dominica in the fall of the same year and paid for 5 of them for the same ex. never saw a fish, found out later after doing some research that there are certain times of the year when you are likely to see them, so check it out.
