parking at port Everglades

We kive on the west coast and like to drive to the pier. Last year we

stayed at the Spring Hill in Dania. They let us keep the car there and provided transportation to the dock. They would have provided transportation back

if we stayed another night. We ended up with a taxi back for appr. $ 20/25.

Are there better alternatives?

That sounds pretty good to me. Parking at the pier is around $l00 per week, maybe more.

The Amerisuites also lets you park for free if you stay the night before the cruise and provides transportation to the dock. Like the Springhill Suites, you have to pay for a taxi to get back if you are not staying there again. However, it is closer so a taxi is only about $10.
