YTD - arriving early?

We will be sailing with our 13 month old and would like to enjoy the MDR as much as possible. We did YTD for the ease of not feeling tied down by a time, even though we will likely make it to dinner early every night. I was wondering if anyone can comment on their experience with arriving before or right at 5:45?

I'm guessing you would end up standing in line. Showing up 15 minutes later, you would probably breeze right in.

I am sure you will be fine then. Most people prefer to go a little later.

they dont open the doors until a set time, arrive then should be ok.

Find out the earliest time they open the dining room doors...and arrive about 15 minutes later. You should be able to go right in and eat.
