Casino rate and early saver

I booked a casino rate aft balcony for September 2012 on the Glory out of NYC. The regular balcony rate has dropped for past guests and there are no balcony afts available at this late date. Can I get a reduction in the form of OBC?

The Casino Rate is a mailing from CCL directed to folks who spent a good deal of time in their casino on a past cruise. Early Saver Rates are often lower as the cruise nears as is the case of our upcoming cruise.

I actually would say ES is rarely lower than casino rate. Rates are plummenting now due to Issac, and there are just some super deals out there right now. Upgrade now if you can before people forget this hurricane and start booking again.

A hurricane always scares the heck out of people who might have been ready to book.

If I didnt have 2 weeks already booked this month ... I would so be jumping on these rates.. senior and others are just as low.. they are obviously getting lots of cancellations.

In my case, everytime ES goes down, Casino rate does too. I'm before final payment, so getting price drops, but my PVP explained to me, even after final payment at the casino rate, I would get the OBC. He has never steered me wrong, so OP, if I were you, I would look into it!!!

I have reduced $45 pp so far, and waiting for him to call me back now for another $30 each. And this is all at the casino rate. We don't have anything left in our cat either, didn't last time, he cancelled & immediately rebooked us in same room at the cheaper rate, granted risky if someone else is looking for that cat at the same time..... it's all fun & games till you lose your aft. :D
