:)HOW FAR IS THE NEAREST FOOD STORE AND LIQUOR STORE FROM MORRITTS THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR THE INFO:eek: ALSO ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT A PLACE CALLED ARLAINS???????:confused:

The nearest food and liquor stores are about a one minute walk across the street from Morritts.

 

Arlains hasn't moved since the last time you asked this.

Fosters Express mini-mart is across the street, all the basics and then some. Chisholm's, just the basics, is a 15 minute drive. Foster's at the Countryside shopping center, 35 minutes away is Savannah, is the closest full-service grocery. Jacques Scott liquors is across the street in the same strip center as Fosters Express.

 

Arlains is a take-out window across the street from the Compass Point/Ocean Frontiers dive center on East End.

Fosters at Countryside is the closest big grocery (really only about 25 min drive) but the Fosters Express has the basics at the same price. The Express location in East End is considerably more than a convenience store but if you want a large selection of produce and meats you had best shop the Countryside location.

 

In the same plaza as the Fosters Express there is a gift shop with swimwear, t-shirts and such (run by Red Sail Sports). You'll also find the liquor store and a restaurant Italian Kitchen. Also in the general area there is a Subway at The Reef Resort right next door to Morritts.

 

Tukka Restaurant is about 1.5 miles from Morritts. In the same direction, Arlains is about a 3 mile drive from Morritts and right by Ocean Frontiers dive shop.

 

 

Other importantish stuff... a rental car is highly recommended for getting around East End. There is a gas station in Old Man Bay (7.5 miles away which is half way from Morritt's to Rum Point) or in the village of East End (4 miles from Morritt's going the other way). There is an ATM at the Fosters Express, the only one east of Savannah (a 25 minute drive away).
