Rare LewiLewi Posted September 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2012 My husband and sister in law want to take art lessons on our upcoming Riviera cruise. I have not been able to sign them up in advance. When is the earliest they can sign up for lessons and where/or with whom? Thanks
Rare LHT28 Posted September 3, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2012 I do not believe you can sign up in advance It is first come first serve basis It may not be art classes it could be crafts or photography check once you are on board
Baby Hughy Posted September 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2012 Check your daily Currents for time of lessons and be there early as it is first come gets to participate. They could be hplding art or craft or Photography lessons at different times of day. Bill
Aruba Posted September 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2012 When you board, there will be a schedule in your stateroom of all the Artist Loft classes that will be offered during your cruise, as well as a bio of the instructor. You cannot sign up in advance the way you can with shore excursions or specialty restaurant reservations.
JimandStan Posted September 4, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2012 What hasn't been addressed, so far, is that the classes in the Artist's Loft are not bookable in advance partly because they are free! :D Keeping it free form assuredly keeps the overhead down. Rare LewiLewi Posted September 4, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Thank you all. Can you sign up at one time for all of the daily lessons, or do you have to sign up every day?
JimandStan Posted September 4, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Thank you all. Can you sign up at one time for all of the daily lessons, or do you have to sign up every day? Let me first point out that there are not continuous classes in the Artist Loft. Typically, there will be three or four classes in any given day. The rest of the time, the room is dark. If you stop into the Loft between classes, there will be sign up sheets for the more popular courses, and a schedule to refer to. Other activities are first come first served on the day. Aruba Posted September 5, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Typically, there will be three or four classes in any given day. The rest of the time, the room is dark. This past summer on Riviera there was one class per day. Also, a different instructor for each cruise.
