What is Carnival Match Play??

Just what the heck is Carnival Match Play? Do they still do this? What drinks do you have to purchase? How does it work? :confused:

We were just on the Pride, we got the match play when we spent over $10 in drinks in the punchliner club. If we spent over $10 anywhere else we didn't get it.

 

Also, you MUST take it to the casino cashier to exchange the stamped receipt for the match play card the SAME night you get it. The card can then be used any time. We lost out on one since nobody told us it had to be turned in the same night.

I don't mean to be stupid but that means you spend $ 10 on drinks and get $10 to play in the casino? If you used drink coupons would it count towards the $10? Is it per person or could you do it per couple? Just wondering. Thx!

The last time I got this in Sept 2011 it was $5 match play with any Carnival Classic drink purchase.

 

Take drink receipt to casino cashier, get $5 match coupon.

 

Bet $5 cash plus coupon and essentially your bet is $10 at table game.

You would need to purchase a "signature" cocktail which include:

Long Island Ice Tea, Ultimate Margarita, Mojito, The Cruiser, Mai Tai and Sex on the Beach

Save your receipt.

Take your receipt the the casino cashier and thats there they will give you a match play coupon that you place in a casino game table along with your matching bet.
