seaway Posted April 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Both Sylvie and Alain are booked for June 24, 2004. Does anyone have another suggestion for a tour guide in Villefranche?

cruisingbug Posted April 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2004 I don't know if anyone else mentioned this somewhere that you've seen, but the train is within walking distance of the tender port at Villefranche. Don't see much need of a tour guide - Nice is just beautiful to walk around in. We didn't get to MC but I assume you can just wander around the casino (dressed appropriately, of course)
Krazy Kruizers Posted April 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Villefranche The train is just across the lower road from where the ship's tenders dock. We were there a couple of days. One of the tours that we took was to the village of Eze, a middle age mountain-top village. Lot of walking up a steep hill. Lots of small shops and boutiques.
