We are taking a Princess cruise in Jan and coming into Galvaston a few days early. The guys want to go deep sea fishing and I have found several companies online. Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with any of them? Thanks in advance!

That time of year you are almost certainly going to be bay fishing. Can be pretty rough off shore that time of year. When we were going almost weekly, we had to spend a lot more time in the bay and very little time off shore. There are many good to excellent guides available. I'm guessing no one wants to keep the fish???
