Best AQ1 Cabins on Summit

Recommended Posts

Am booked in an Aqua Class cabin (1133) next November on the Summit. Have been reading and looking at pictures through this board a lot the past few days and getting a bit nervous about this cabin with respect to privacy and smoke. This is the only aft AQ cabin left so I can't switch closer to the middle.

The C1 aft cabins actually are $100 more total so it doesn't make sense to switch and get less amenities. Sky Suites are about $600 more and I think that could be better spent and put toward another cruise (although I've never stayed in one of these suites). Any reports/pictures of the new AQ cabins on Deck 11 on the Summit or other recommendations? Thanks

Be aware that there is a lot of smoking in port side of sunset bar below and it could be noisy too. Don't book if you are averse to noise and smoking.

Thanks for the reply. We switched to the end cabin (1130) on the starboard side, but still a bit concerned about privacy. We can get a Sky Suite for $600 more, but not sure if its worth the extra money or not. These rooms are pretty new and seem nice.

We recently were on a pair of B2B cruises on the Infinity, and were in stateroom 1138 for a total of thirty-one nights. We are non-smokers who find the smell of cigarettes unpleasant. However, we never had any smell of smoke on our balcony on either cruise. We also were not bothered by noise. Once we were in the stateroom with the door to the balcony closed we couldn't hear any music from the Sunset Bar.
