Guarantee Cabins

HI! I'm booked on the Elation leaving 9/22....woo hoo!! I originally booked a specific cabin, but because of early saver my priced dropped $50/pp, but it's for a guarantee. My question is, has any that switched to a guarantee ended up with the same cabin they had previously been assigned? It's not a big deal, I was just curious. Thanks!

YOUR price did not drop.. a category below yours dropped, the gty price is not your category. they used to deny these, but so many people dont seem to know what category they are (ES you have to pick your cabin, so I know its impossible for you to be a gty rate), they finally are relenting and allowing you to price match downward.

 

I price matched upward to a gty .. and they moved me. There is a long thread going on since yesterday where someone is having a fit because they moved him to a lesser category than he originally had.

 

Only you can decide if its worth giving up your cabin for $50 OBC. You might be below the kitchen, the pool or a lounge. You have to accept whatever you get.

I switched to a gty for a price drop and was assigned the same cabin I had before. So it is possible.
