Please help for one night hotel in Paris

I love the Marais district; it's a favorite of Rick Steves as well and has some less expensive hotels while still close to the Louvre/Notre Dame end of Paris. Good restaurants in the area too.

I stayed at the Vieux Marais hotel and would recommend it for a night. Yes, the rooms are very small (an issue everywhere in Paris) but the area is great. The only caution is that I've read on Tripadvisor that the property is undergoing a renovation. So you may want to check on that in advance of booking.
