Lita-I love the pictures of your cabin. Due to multiple price drops, we have a grand suite a few doors down from yours next month. I cannot wait. I've never had anything other than a standard balcony cabin. Now to figure out the perks.... Thanks, Dena

Wow Dena! Congratulations! I'm so very happy for you! We LOVED our Grand Suite, and the perks that came with it :D

I know that the following perks are available for Suite guests at the Concierge Lounge:

Continental breakfast buffet (I believe the time was from 7 am to 10 am

Speciality coffees ( lattes, cappuccino, etc)

Hot and cold snacks throughout the day

Complimentary Cocktail hour at the Concierge Lounge, I believe from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm

You can also ask the Concierge for help with the following. There’s probably more that Diego, the Concierge at the Splendour, can do which I’m not aware of; he was amazing! :D

Complimentary tours of the Bridge, Galley kitchens, and Backstage

Sold out excursions, specialty dining reservations, etc.

Arranging for a transfer vehicle to the airport

Also, here is RCI's "Enhanced Program for Suite Guests" taken from their website

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/contentWithHero.do?pagename=enhanced_program_for_suite_guests

Priority check-in

Personalized attention throughout the cruise with complimentary Concierge Club service on select ships

Reserved prime seating in the main theater for entertainment shows, where available

Priority tender tickets on select cruises. (Tender service is provided when smaller vessels are necessary to reach shore in locations without docking ports large enough for cruise ships.)

VIP pool deck seating, where available

Full breakfast, lunch and dinner dining room menus available for in-room dining

Private breakfast and lunch seating in specialty restaurants on our Voyager and Freedom Class ships

Mattel® board games available to order for in-room entertainment for the kids

Complimentary luggage valet service

Luxury spa bathrobes for use onboard

Complimentary pressing service on formal night ----- 1 free item per guest

Since I first read this review of yours' date=' it looks like we will now be visiting Dubrovnik next year. Not on a cruise, on a land tour. However, is this restaurant actually in Dubrovnik? We will be staying for 3 nights and will need to find places for lunch and dinner. Though I'm wondering if it would be a bit over our budget.

Hope all is well with you haven't seen you on our PC thread recently.:)

Hi Valerie :)

Oh my, you're so Lucky to get to visit Dubrovnik on a land tour! Our family would love to do the same too in the future!

The following is what I have re Konavoski Dvori Restaurant:

--- Distance between Dubrovnik’s Old Town to the Restaurant looks like approx 25 miles from Dubrovnik.

The following website says it would a 15 to 20 minute drive from the Old Town to the Restaurant. When we did our excursion, it felt like 20 minutes at least http://www.dubrovnik-secrets.com/ds/nearby_konavle.html

Here's a Cruise Critic link where cruisers discussed the restaurant

http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=552342

Here's the restaurant's website

http://www.esculaprestaurants.com/?konavoskidvori=konavle&dubrovnik=restaurant&visit

Group Menu with prices http://www.esculaprestaurants.com/?konavoskidvori=menugrupni&dubrovnik=restaurant

Tourist Menu with prices (for individual guests, I think) http://www.esculaprestaurants.com/?konavoskidvori=menuturisticki&dubrovnik=restaurant

I think the Tourist Menu is for individual patrons not part of a group.

Hope the above helps in planning your trip :)

Thank you for such an excellent reviews of your adventure and all of the stunning photos! You are a much better photographer than you give yourself credit for! Your review helped cement my decision to book the legend for her fall 2013 transatlantic. By that time she will have received the same makeover that splendour has.

Thank you again, and I look forward to following your next adventure :D

Hiiiiii!!!!

I have absolutely thoroughly enjoyed your review so much!!!

(I realise it's an older review now).

The ports were brilliant.

& your friendships from cruising is amazing!

I'm doing a cruise with my husband (we're from Australia) & our friends from LA, on Splendour in May after a cruise on Vision.

I started a review, (about to finish it).
