Miss JAD Posted September 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2012 I would really like to spend a day or two in the Sanctuary area. Do you know if you need to pre-book or would it be OK to just show up the day you want to go.

On some itineraries, the Sanctuary is booked quickly on embarkation day although some loungers are reserved for the per-day bookings. Even then, these could be fully booked early in the day. On other itineraries, the Sanctuary isn't fully booked and there's far more flexibility. It would be helpful to know your itinerary and dates because that can make a difference. Princess will offer to sell about half of the lounges for the full cruise on embarkation day. The remaining lounges are available for daily bookings each day, and people who really want them wil line up before 7 AM hoping to get a spot. On cruises that are not warm weather of have a high number of ports, there may not be much demand for the Sanctuary, so showing up when you want may work then. For other times, reserving is necessary.
