iPod in room - Magic

Hello,

 

I was wondering if they have a way to hook up an iPod in your cabin on the Magic. Specifically something on the radio or TV to run the player through.

 

Anyone?

There is no radio (or alarm clock).

 

I have never heard of anyone hooking their ipod thru their tv, but probably if you are a whiz you could. Not me.

 

Ive heard of people bringing their own speakers though.

no alarm clocks and you cannot hook an ipod up to a TV that I am aware of, so my guess is you are out of luck. If you bring a laptop and cables, perhaps you can connect your PC to the Cabin tv's and watch what is on your ipods, etc

We always bring our ihome with us, and of course a power strip since there is only one outlet in the room!

I have one of those and they are great for listening while working in the yard and other places. They work on my Kindle or any other device that will take a headphone.

you don't really need a radio either for an ipod if you have the pin connector with the attached wall AC Plug. Plug into a wall and good to go. Sound isn't great on it's own but works. Good alarm clock as well

Is your iPod a newer version? If it has the speaker put it in a glass and it magnifies the sound as good as a speaker

If the tvs have RCA cable in puts you can buy a cable to plug your iPod into the tv. We listen to our music at home that way

guess you can, but I don't think it will take standard composite cables. I have also read that some tv's work and some don't. This is one downfall with Apple Products...
