do the ships get delayed frequently upon returning to venice cruise port?

Our ship returns at 6am and our flight leaves venice airport at 1:40 pm we want to make sure we will make the flight on time

 

Also my mom doesnt want to worry about crossing over bridges with her luggage or allot of walking due toproblems with her knees so i thought we could stay at a hotel next to the airport have the hotel shuttle us to the port but once we arrive is there allot of walking to get to the cruises?

A taxi will drop you near the ship. If the ship is at the end of the dock, they may run a shuttle. Most hotels at the airport won't 'shuttle' you to the cruise terminal. You will ned a taxi (land) taxi. It's impossible to say if your ship will be delayed It would be quite unusual in Venice.

The courtyard marriott at the airport has a package where they say thwy can shuttle you to the cruise port or im sure tgey can call us a cab & royal carribean said they have a ****tle going to the airport upon returning

It would be extremely rare for a ship to be late enough where you miss a 1:45 flight, not to worry.
