Leaving Baggage on board?

We are on the Dec 19 Holiday voyage of the QE. We have recently decided to buy passage on the continuing Voyage Number: Q302 Departure Date: 06-Jan-2013 to Florida.

We don't have the same stateroom. Do we need to get off the ship in Southamton?Can we leave our baggage on board in Southampton? Where can we leave it?

The stewards will move your luggage to your new cabin and you will not be required to leave the ship (though Southampton does have many worthwhile attractions as does the surrounding area).

Usually the steward will take your hanging clothes on hangars to your next cabin and you only have to pack up rest.

Thank you for your answers! We are real excited about this extended time on board. We have been on the QM & QV. This is our first QE voyage.
