Carnival freedom vs caribbean princess

The freedom has waterslides and is more teen friendly - in my opinion. I personally prefer the Caribbean Princess. It will have "Movies under the Stars" and minigolf as well as sports and pool activities. Overall Carnival caters more to children, but I think Princess does a nice job too. Depending when you are cruising, Carnival may have more teens.

I have never been on Carnival but we love Princess and have sailed on the Caribbean Princess once and on the Crown three times. It depends on the time of the year you go because sometimes Princess does tend to have an older crowd but I'd choose them over Carnival any day. Because they are not overcrowded with kids, there is a lot more attention to them in the clubs and it's not impossible to find spaces in the kid-friendly activities (like on some of the kid-targeted ships). I agree Movies under the stars are great as is the mini-golf. Their cabins and food is also generally really nice. They also offer 5 different pools on each ship so it's not a mad house
