Final Farewell - still happening on Dream?

I was reading through some of the Dream reviews and one of them stated that the Final Farewell (which is on the last night with free drinks) has been cancelled on the Dream.

 

Any truth to this? Sure hope not!

It's been cancelled on all ships. Sorry, it's true and there hasn't been a farewell party for months now. Supposedly, it was cancelled for lack of attendance.

That's a good one, "for lack of attendance" most of the cruisers had no idea what the Final Farewell is was, it was the most under advertised event on the ship and that was intentional by Carnival!

Exactly! They wanted it to be poorly attended, so that they wouldn't have to give out as many drinks as they did at the Captains Cocktail Parties. Then, they claim poor attendance as their reason for canceling the farewell party. It's not hard to see right through that. I wish they would just be honest, instead of all the manipulation & lies.

Very well attended on the ones I have been on. To bad its been taken away.
