OMG, I'm so hungry now!! My favorite - Warm Chocolate Melting Cake!!!!

Also the carpaccio was very very good. NEVER thought I'd eat raw meat:eek: but it was awesome. Can't wait till January.

I may in the minority here but I actually liked the Pizza. DS, who is a pizza fanatic (but then again, what 10 year old isn't?), also loved it. Cousin's DD didn't like it at all because of the thin(nish) crust.

While I did like the afore-mentioned spring rolls a lot, my new favourite is, by far, anything from the Indian vegetarian meal in the MDR.

salad bar in the buffet and I add lots of sunflower seeds. I eat that more than anything else. I hate to cut up all those veggies at home, so its such a treat.

 

This is what I eat every day for lunch when I am cruising...with sunflower seeds and honey mustard dressing! Its one of the first things I go to when I get on the ship.

I have never posted on a food porn thread but after 22 Carnival Cruises I do have a couple of favorites. I love the beef entrees, braised short ribs, chateaubriand, braised short ribs confit with the filet mignon, prime rib. I request medium rare to medium, they are melt in your mouth. The sauce on the chateaubriand is bernaise and I always get extra. Lobster, of course. Speghetti Carbonara (starter). Buffet, salads are amazing. With everything you can put on them. The WCMC is amazing but I am usually too full for desert. Also the creme brulee. Don't care for "didja you ever" want to try alligator and whatever. Our 25 year old son tried everything a year ago, and I just looked at it.

One of the things I crave is a good grilled deli sandwich, a pastrami on rye extra meat etc... I just love the deli sandwiches made to order. I also liked the Basa fish dish.

 

Some more snow flurries today and normally we cruise in January to escape winter...knowing financially January 2013 won't happen...the wait to our next cruise (likely January 2014) is appearing VERY far away....ughh

Hands down the Warm Chocolate Melting cake! Still have dreams about that stuff. I swear they put crack in it or something! :D

I LOVE the Yukon Gold Mash Potatoes w/ Wasabe Horseradish (Steakhouse only) and my favorite thing in the MDR is the Tiramisu.

The short rib confit that comes with the petit filet was melt in your mouth good. The filet, surprisingly, was a little tough, but good enough to make this my favorite meal.

 

Still miss the Wellington though :(

 

AGREE! Usually let my hubby have the steak, but the ribs....nom nom nom:D

BLT from Room Service. Banana Split from Kids Menu. Sweet and Sour Shrimp on MDR Menu.

Lobster from the Supper Club. Could not pick one.

Not sure if they still serve them. Hope they do!

seems kind of silly, but the grilled fish they serve first day at buffet

Best drink: Funship Special (cuz it's the first one)

Best App: tried a lot of the new ones, but I like the crab cakes

Best salad: Ceasar - EVERY night!

Best entree: LOVE shrimp, but not the breaded ones; lobster; don't eat the red meat much, but I think I'll try the Chateaubriand after reading about it

Best dessert: Bitter and Blanc, followed closely by Creme Brulee and the chocolate cake off the room service menu.

Mushroom soup is super duper.

Creme brulee is my favorite dessert.

I do not have a favorite entree. One time, I ordered 1 of all the appetizers because I could not find an entree I wanted.

My hubby and I cruised in September on the Triumph, we had Mac-n-Cheese everynight in the dinning room. It's the best!!!!!!

The Seafood Newburg I had on the Pride last year at about this time. It was so good it shivered me timbers, so it did. In fact, I had to get more of it...I was well ballasted that day...

I love the vegetarian entrees esp. the Indian and also the pot pie (if served hot). For dessert, the diet coconut or banana cake are delicious - all others are just a little too rich for me.
