Stayed at a great small hotel in NYC

Just got back from a Princess cruise, and we needed a couple of nights at a clean hotel, so we ended up booking at the Hampton Inn seaport/financial district. The rooms were small, but larger than what I had last time in the Times Square area, and the staff, were great!!! Free breakfast in the morning downstairs which was a nice touch, along with the great cookies in the afternoon at the front desk. Most important to me was how clean the room and bathroom was and again how helpful everyone that worked there was to us. It is within walking distance of the seaport area, with many choices for restaurants, and we could walk to the 911 memorial.

If you decide to book there, request a room on the backside of the hotel upper level for the quieter rooms. Some of the front facing rooms, do have balconies but they are noisier because of the street.

Hope this helps someone that is researching hotels!
