LoriPhil Posted October 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Ah, those Hobby-to-Galveston (and return) questions! Car rental isn't an option for us, so I'm researching companies to transport 4 of us from Hobby to Galveston in January. How long in advance should we make the reservation - is there much competition for vehicles or does a taxi work just as easily? DH is also wondering whether booking a return with a transport company is necessary or if the Princess transfer will get us there just as fast. It's our first time in Galveston and we need help from experienced CC'rs! Many thanks for your thoughts. Lori
bernman Posted October 17, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Never used them before but, we have a towncar for 3 people on 10/20 from Hobby to La Quinta for $65 including eveything but tip through 247 Lux Limo. Good luck!

LHARTWICK Posted October 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 18, 2012 Bernman: Where is the La Quinta? We're needing a hotel for 12/8 prior to 12/9 Magic cruise. Thanks!!
recyclelady Posted October 18, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2012 We have booked a limo/van with Cornerstone Limo from Hobby to the LaQuinta in early March. We've also booked them from the ship back to Hobby on the return. For 6 adults, it will cost us $120 total each way. I used to live in Houston about 22 years ago. It can be a bit of a drive down to the coast.
