That is a great itinerary. If you have the time, get to Marseille a couple of days early, rent a car and head up to Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape, Orange, Nimes and Arles. Beautiful countryside, nice restaurants and great wine. And probably cheaper than hanging around Marseille.

Better yet return to Portofino post cruise and spend a few nights there.
