reneeadams Posted October 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Just noticed on carnival website they are offering a scenic ocean view Lido deck cabin 9199 etc. I have never noticed this before are these rooms added because of the upgrades or have I just missed them all this time? Cricket63 Posted October 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Looks like they have taken the old 4J cabins and converted them...VERY NICE!

copref Posted January 27, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2013 We booked the 6k on the lido deck in early December. It was the most incredible room on the ship and we had an abundant amount of room (340 sq ft). Having the 2 8 ft wide floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bow was the greatest sight. In the mornings after my workouts, I would open the electric blinds so my wife and son could wake to the greatest view. If you do get this room, you must comply with the light standards and close the blinds completely at dusk (unless you want to gaze at the stars with the lights off). this is because you are directly above the bridge and the navigation officers and crew need it to be completely dark so they can safely drive the ship. If you forget, you may get a call from the bridge or a security officer come visit you. I am so glad we were able to get this cabin.
