Howdy, Funatics! Getting hard to keep up with everything. 11 more days of work...starting to get into crunch time!;) I still haven't sorted through clothes, but luckilly since I lost a little weight, if it fit on the last cruise, it will fit now. If I hadn't lost anything, my dryer would have also gotten mine:eek:

Floatie, maybe Mama is gonna suck up to Ready and hope for an invite! LOL!

I think I may wear my Funatics shirt for the sailaway days...it really does make it easier for others to find the group.

Just getting ready to put in my order for some glow stuff...won't be much though, so Ward, I may take you up on your offer!;)

Got Monday done....bring on Tuesday!:D

Floatie, I'm going to paypal you for the La Romana excursion this week. Just want to get that taken care of.

Aauugghh!! Drives me bonkers to see people talk about La Romans day. My stupidity for taking Lisa off so I will still have fun at Dreams. But Saona Island is my 1st choice. I am on list for Saona Island but on outside looking in.

I have a feeling that me and Mama Floatie will get a long just fine. She thinks like me LOL.

Gonna wear our tshirts for sail away also. Now I know what to pack to wear on the ship:D

Thanks...will check it out. Trying to figure out how I am going to pack everything I have to take now LOL. I might have to regroup on how many pairs of shoes I take. I took 10 pairs on the last cruise. I have it narrowed down to 18 pairs of shoes for this cruise. I definitely need to drop that amount down some.

Good Morning Funatics :)

I have today off ... the State's way of making sure that we have plenty of time to go vote ;) I voted early though (2 weeks ago) so today is going to be a "try on cruise clothes" kind of day :o Gotta see what still fits.

LOL ... I thought I was bad taking 8 pairs of shoes ... I also mistakenly thought I would be able to pack everything into ONE suitcase .... NOT

Hello to all you FUNatics! Your beautiful Breeze awaits you and will set sail later today on the transatlantic. It is another brilliant ship that is loaded with fun on board.

Some of you who sailed on the Miracle will remember our waiter, Linden, who brought us all the souvenir shots. He is on Deck 5 in the Red Frog Pub (adjacent to the Liquid Nightclub disco), along with another familiar face -- Sebastian.

Floatie, you asked about the Blush Dining Room main floor. It alternates round tables and banquet tables, so the set-up is slightly different from the adjacent round tables from the past (at least as far as I could see).

We had amazing servers in the upper level of the dining room (Surya was the team leader and is spectacular with a great sense of humor. His assistant, Magdalena, is moving to Conquest and is no longer aboard.

Some of the fun that awaits you are the favorites such as the Piano Bar and Disco (where Alex was rocking' out the tunes for us), there is a foosball table and table-size shuffleboard game in the back of the Red Frog Pub, Hasbro Game Shows take place throughout the week in the Ovation Theatre. Chris entered the Mixology contest with our best effort in replicating Bonnie's "Captain Jack Sparrow". It wasn't the winner this time, but we had a blast. He and Cairne both made it on stage for the game shows.

We enjoyed some hilarious comedy shows and lots of great Karaoke (Chris has an amazing voice which made that very special for all of us.) Mike, the host of the comedy club and some of the karaoke was a dud. He was actually quite rude to a few of the passengers and not up to par in my book.

Cairne took in the tea and treats, while I had a bit of luck in the casino. :-)

I took a trip to the Spa when they were having one of their specials and it was so relaxing. That was the first time I had indulged myself on the ship and it was worth it.

At the Red Frog Pub we tested out some of the appetizers (cost was $3.33 each I believe). My wings were very good -- probably eight of them in the basket. We dined a few times for lunch at the Italian restaurant and it was yummy (free at lunchtime). We also paid to go one evening ($12.00) at the Italian restaurant, but we weren't overly impressed with that visit.

The Fahreinheit 555 (steakhouse) was delicious as always -- so we went there twice ($35 charge).

I don't remember all the internet costs, but for $159 I received probably eight hours. With being gone for 2 weeks this time, it was worth it to stay in touch with family members at home.

Ediz was our friendly bar waiter who brought us shooters in the dining room this time and I also saw him floating around the Piano Bar area. He was wonderful. We told him on our first shot that it was a tribute to our friend, Bonnie, who was no longer with us. At the end of the week, he remembered our conversation from the very first day and told us we had honored our friend well and that she would be proud!! :-) Another of our favorite waiters was Gabor in the Ocean Plaza. Our favorite photographer was Melson.

I hope that you have as much fun as we did aboard your Breeze. The final countdown is on!! ENJOY!!!!!

P.S. The future cruise certificates were still being sold onboard the Breeze. They told us that was the only ship on which they are still being sold.
