Does Water Ever Get Too Cold In Late Fall Or Winter?

Would like to do a Southern Caribbean cruise and we can't go when it is super hot, like over 84 degrees, because my husband can't be in that kind of heat for too long so I would like to go a cooler time of year. However, I was wondering if the water is chilly in the cooler months?

January through March is an ideal time to take a southern caribbean cruise, IMO!

I have taken 5 southern caribbean cruises, primarily in February or March. The ocean

temperature is fairly constant, depending exactly where you are, etc.

One of my primary interests is snorkeling. I have visited probably about 25 ports;

water temperature has never been a factor, in my enjoyment of the activity.

Nor has the air temperature, been perceived as unbearably hot. Almost always, there is

a wonderful tropical breeze.
