crenee44 Posted October 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2012 There is a chance we may have to cancel our trip next week. All I have to do is call our PVP and let them know and then file a claim with the insurance, right? I just wanted to be prepared and know if there were any hoops to jump through just in case. Thanks! vacruizer Posted October 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2012 I'm so sorry. Yes, you just call and cancel. You can even call the morning of sailing like I did. :( I was still holding out hope until the last minute that I'd be able to sail. Then call your insurance. They will open a claim for you, send you paperwork that you complete along with supporting documents depending on what the reason was. Once I was able to gather the required documentation and submit it, I had my refund in about 3 weeks. Hope you can take another cruise soon! klfrodo Posted October 20, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2012 then file a claim with the insurance, right? Thanks! As long as it's a covered reason.

*Luv2Cruz* Posted October 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Sorry you may have to cancel but having the insurance does make it a little easier. We just had to cancel our trip which actually leaves tomorrow; and now we're already booked again for the end of Novermber. Hope everyone is alright and you're back cruising soon!:)
crenee44 Posted October 20, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Thanks everyone. We are hoping to still be able to go, but if not, it is a covered reason so having the insurance helps me rest a little easier.
