MikeyA53 Posted October 26, 2012 Author #102 Share Posted October 26, 2012 . P.S: The doors to the massage rooms were closed; I simply opened them and went in. At the Venus Salon I met a spa worker and asked permission to photograph the facilities. There were other public rooms throughout the ship that were close and I simply found a way in. When Tracy was with me she would sometime say ‘’ I don’t think you should” and I would respond “there are no signs saying “keep out, closed or staff only”. Once inside I would sometimes meet a worker and never once did they say anything. Massage rooms .

MikeyA53 Posted October 26, 2012 Author #104 Share Posted October 26, 2012 . Next to the upper section of the gym, deck 10 is the teen club. The O2 club is for teens 15-17. Arielle and Mitchel did not like its secluded location. On previous cruises on Valor, Freedom, Glory, Imagination and Sensation, the O2 club was situated on Promenade Deck, next to the video arcade, dance club, casino etc., in other words amidst all the action. . Mike, great review as always - really enjoying it. Club O2 on Spirit-class ships seems to have been an afterthought, which is why it's in an out-of-the-way location. However, our oldest son (now 21) really liked the location - I think he figured we could spy on him on the Promenade deck.:p
MikeyA53 Posted October 26, 2012 Author #106 Share Posted October 26, 2012 . Located mid ship on Deck 10 (Sun) and Deck 11 (Sport), in the base of the funnel, is Nick & Nora’s steakhouse. There are entrances to the steakhouse on deck 10 and the main entrance is a spiral staircase starting in Horatio’s restaurant on Deck 9, running through the upper section of the Metropolis Lobby, onto Deck 10. . MikeyA53 Posted October 26, 2012 Author #120 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Was waiting for your review!! Lucky you didn't hit Hurricane Sandy going down, or you'd be visiting your home territory instead of the Caribbean! We loved this cruise when we did it last year. :) Looks like it might hit all of us on the northeastern sea coast. It could be snow instead of rain for us in Canada. They are calling it the Frankenstorm because it may collide with a early winter storm from the west to form a perfect storm.
MikeyA53 Posted October 26, 2012 Author #121 Share Posted October 26, 2012 great to see another review..you and yours are looking fit and healthy She who must be obeyed and I are going on the Carnival Splendor in a couple of weeks. Your review is getting us in the mood. Thank you Captain. Since we like cruising on a different ship each time out I'm glad Spendor is coming to New York. MikeyA53 Posted October 26, 2012 Author #122 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Hi Mike, welcome back and looking forward to your review, again... How is Tracy getting along with her new career? Stay safe!!!! Thank you. Tracy is finding police work is very demanding. She is hoping to transfer to the Musical Ride next year. For our non-Canadian friends who may not know what it is. 'The Musical Ride of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is a formal event showcasing the equestrian skills performed by thirty-two cavalry who are regular members of the force. The event is held in Canada and worldwide to promote the RCMP'. Contrary to popular belief throughout the world, the regular members of the RCMP do not ride horses, some of us have never been on a horse. We drive police vehicles. Went I first went to the UK to meet Tracy's family they were all shocked that I had never been on a horse.
