Rare Keith1010 Posted October 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2012 One leg is not better than the other in terms of the weather. I like to begin in Buenos Aires though. I always think it's a good idea to fly in a couple or more days before the cruise to get over jet lag, to ensure that flight cancellations or delays don't cause you to miss the ship, and to recover temporarily lost luggage. To me there is so much more to do and see in Buenos Aires over Santiago or Valparaiso, Chile that we prefer beginning in Buenos Aires. wripro Posted October 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2012 If you're going Buenos Aires to Santiago be sure and book a starboard cabin. From Santiago to Buenos Aires book on the port side.
