ufgatorgirl Posted May 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2004 Good Evening, Was just wondering what kind of weather you can expect in February for the Eastern Caribbean. And what do you pack as far as close for the ship. Is it cold sailing? And evening wear, do you still wear strapless gowns? Thanks for your input. Nitemare Posted May 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2004 I'd suggest you check weather.com, or any of the travel sites associated with the islands you're visiting to get a feeling for the temperature extremes you'll experience on your trip. I love to wear my strapless gown for formal evenings, but only if I can get my wife to shave my back first!
Orcrone Posted May 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2004 Weather.com is a good suggestion, but you will probably run into lows in the high 60 to low 70s and highs in the low to mid 80s. As far as the ship, the air conditioning can often be pretty cool in the evenings, so you may want to pack with that in mind. 1/1990 - RCCL Song of America 4/13/2003 - Carnival Inspiration 10/30/2004 - Maasdam Till sailing on the Maasdam
serene56 Posted May 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2004 Air conditioning in the summer is very cool too. We always pack sweaters and jackets.
